What sections are locked on a free listing?
Free listings lock five profile sections until you upgrade to a paid launch. Your core profile fields remain editable at all times.
Updated
Core profile: always editable
Every listing—free or paid—includes name, tagline, description, features, category, FAQs, social links, logo and homepage screenshot. You edit these from /account/listings whenever you need to.
Five sections: locked on free listings
Free listings display these sections as locked:
- Founder story: the founder's background, linked to a dedicated story page.
- Milestones: timestamped events in your product's development.
- Screenshots and demo video: a gallery of product images plus a video link.
- Comparisons: your main competitor and product alternatives.
- Dofollow website link: a followed link pointing to your site.
Data you enter into locked sections is retained. It becomes visible once the section opens.
Upgrade to open everything
A paid launch ($5) unlocks all five sections and switches your website link to dofollow. To upgrade a free listing, sign in at /account/listings and select the 'Upgrades and extras' option next to your listing.
Website link status
Free listings point to your website as nofollow. Paid launches use dofollow links instead.
