How do I claim and verify my listing?
Prove domain control to become owner and display the Verified badge on your startup's record.

Claiming your listing
Go to /claim/<listing> or open the listing and select "Claim". You will need to prove you control the company's domain.
Verification methods
Choose one of these to verify domain control:
- Email to an address at your company's domain (we send you a secret link)
- DNS TXT record on the root domain
- Meta tag on your homepage
- Small verification file on your website
Verification codes expire after 14 days. If yours expires, start the process again.
After verification
You become the owner of the listing (if it was unclaimed) and gain the right to edit all fields. The Verified badge appears on your record, signalling that you control the domain. Verification status is never sold and remains separate from paid placement and votes.

- What counts as proof of domain control?
- Any of: receiving email at your company domain, adding a DNS record, placing a meta tag on your homepage, or uploading a file to your website.
- What if my verification code runs out?
- Codes last 14 days. After expiry, start the claim process again.
- Does the Verified badge cost money?
- No. Verification is free and separate from any paid features or vote counts.
