How do I follow a founder or listing?
Follow listings and founders to receive their milestones, products, launches and stories by email and account notice; unfollow with one button.
Updated
Following explained
Each listing page and founder page displays a Follow button. Pressing it means their updates arrive to you without returning to check the page. Following is free and requires only a free account on Startup Biz Info.
Starting to follow
Open any listing or founder profile and select Follow. If you are signed in, you follow at once and the button changes to Following. If not signed in, the button directs you to sign in or create an account, then returns you to confirm the action.
What you receive
Listing followers get notices of:
- New milestones and status changes (acquired, closed)
- New products from that company
- Founder stories mentioning the listing
- New or replaced demo videos
- Company launches on other launch and discovery sites (at most one notice daily)
- #1, #2 or #3 Launch of the Week wins
Founder followers get notices of new founder stories. All updates arrive as a notice in your account and by email.
Email frequency and channels
By default, updates combine into one daily summary email. Change this at /account/notifications to instantly, weekly summary, or off. You can add Telegram or Slack there as well.
Stopping and privacy
Open the listing or founder page and select Following to stop at once. Or visit /account/notifications to turn emails off while remaining a follower. The listing owner sees that someone followed, never their identity. Follower counts may display on the listing. Following does not affect community votes, vote rankings or Product of the Week; it counts only towards the most followed list at /launches/most-followed.
