Paid ranking by contribution amount
The billboard is a leaderboard at /leaderboards/billboard that orders listings by total money contributed by their owners. The page clearly marks it as a paid ranking. It sits alongside other leaderboards, not as part of community voting.
How contributions work
You set the contribution amount in US dollars; the minimum is $5. Each new amount you add combines with what you have already contributed. Your total determines your position on the board. Any listing that has contributed at least once remains on the billboard.
Steps to contribute
For a listing you already have, it must be live first.
- Sign in and go to /account/listings
- Find your listing and select "Upgrades and extras"
- Enter your contribution amount under Billboard
You can also add a billboard contribution during listing submission, at the plan step.
Not linked to votes or other rankings
Billboard contributions do not purchase votes. They have no effect on the community leaderboard, Launch of the Week, verification status, Domain Rating or any other ranking system. Each system is independently labelled. Promo codes cannot reduce a billboard contribution amount.
Questions people ask
- Can I use a promo code on my billboard contribution?
- No. Promo codes do not apply to billboard contributions. The amount you enter is the amount you contribute.
- Does the billboard affect my listing's votes or community rank?
- No. The billboard is a separate system. Contributions do not change community votes, Launch of the Week placement, or any other ranking.
- Can I contribute to the billboard before my listing is live?
- No. For a listing you already have, it must be live first. Once it is, you can add a billboard contribution through /account/listings or during submission.
