The Featured record explained
A Featured record puts your listing in the Featured spot on the homepage, labelled Featured, for 7 days. The Featured launch (shown as "Featured record" on this site) costs $19. This is paid placement only: it carries a label at all times, it does not contribute votes to your listing, and it does not alter voting ranks or leaderboards.
Eligibility and purchase
Any listing—whether live or scheduled for a future launch week—is eligible. You can buy Featured when you submit at the plan step, or at any time after. To add it later, sign in to /account/listings, find your listing and select "Upgrades and extras". Check /pricing for the current rate.
Timing of your Featured run
If your listing is live now, the 7 days begin immediately upon payment. If your launch is scheduled for a later week, the days begin on the Monday when that week starts and your listing goes live. Purchasing Featured again while a run is active appends 7 more days to the end. If you reschedule your launch week, your Featured days move to that new week.
What Featured does not include
Featured is independent from Sponsored slots (see /sponsor), the billboard (paid ranking by contribution), and community voting. None of these offerings can substitute for another.
