About Natalie Lock, Co-Founder & Office Manager · United Kingdom

How it started

Zinn Hub has two founders, and Natalie Lock is one of them: she started it together with Neil Lock. Long before Zinn Hub, they were childhood sweethearts; they have now been together for more than thirty years. Neil has written that he talks the bigger things through with Natalie before deciding, and that she is a great part of what helps him do his best work.

Why it exists

Zinn Hub was started to make freelancing fairer. Freelancers who sell there are meant to keep more of the money they earn, and to build a name for themselves. And a buyer gets vetted sellers, real advice and a team behind the marketplace that responds.

What Zinn Hub became

The founders believe it is the first freelance marketplace where people who share no language can still find one another, agree a job, talk it through live and have it delivered. There are 46 languages, and listings, briefs, messages and reviews move between them in both directions. It is a marketplace for digital services, with SEO, web design and content writing among them. Sellers are vetted before they can sell, payouts are instant, and payment works by card or crypto.

Milestones

Zinn Hub won two awards in 2026, UK Freelance Marketplace of the Year 2026 (365 Awards) and Best Multilingual Freelance Marketplace in the United Kingdom of 2026 (Best of Best Review).
