About Games & Entertainment

Games & Entertainment collects the startups that make things people play, watch or build with. Each profile follows the same record layout: what the product does, who founded it, the stage it has reached, how it is priced and where to find it. That makes a studio shipping its first title easy to compare with a tooling company selling to other studios.

The category page lists every product and business in the category and in its four subcategories. Use the filters to narrow by stage, pricing model and subcategory, then sort. Listings appear newest first by default, and you can switch to community votes, which can never be bought.

Each listing sits in one main category, chosen at submission and included free. If a product straddles two areas, such as a streaming tool with a game engine underneath, a paid upgrade adds extra categories. Founders start at /submit, where an AI drafts the profile from the website and the founder checks every field.

Games & Entertainment: questions answered

What belongs in Games & Entertainment?
Products and businesses built for play or viewing: game studios, engines and tooling, streaming and media products, and puzzle or casual apps. If the product mainly serves a different industry and only borrows game mechanics, a more specific category usually fits its profile better.
How do I choose between the subcategories?
Pick by what the customer does with the product. Players buy video games or puzzles and casual titles. Studios buy game dev tools. Viewers use streaming and entertainment products. Choose the one that describes your main customer, because each listing has one main category.
How do I get a game or tool listed here?
Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from that site, and you check and edit every field before anything goes live. A paid launch costs $5, while a free listing joins a queue of about 6-8 weeks.
How are listings ordered on this page?
Newest listings come first by default, so recent launches are easy to spot. Visitors can sort by community votes instead. Votes can never be bought, so a high position on that sort reflects what visitors chose, not what a founder paid.
What should I compare when looking at products in this field?
Check the stage, the pricing model and the founders on each profile. Then read what the product actually does and who it is for. For tools, look at which platforms they support. For titles and media products, look at how they reach their audience.
