About People & Profiles
People & Profiles collects products and businesses whose job is to present a person: who they are, what they have built and where to find them. Each entry gets its own profile page with the same fields, so you can scan one row against the next instead of reading marketing pages. Use the filters to narrow by subcategory, stage and other listed attributes.
The four subcategories split by what the product produces. Founder profiles structure facts about a founder. Personal websites give someone a full home on the web. Portfolios put finished work on display. Link pages gather a handful of destinations behind one address. If a product could fit two, check what the visitor sees first and pick that one.
Listings appear newest first by default, and you can sort by community votes instead. Votes can never be bought. This page lists everything in the category and its subcategories, so you can browse the whole field or go straight to one part of it.

People & Profiles: questions answered
- What kind of product belongs in People & Profiles?
- Anything whose main output is a presentation of an individual: a founder database tool, a site builder for personal pages, a portfolio platform or a link-in-bio page. If the product mainly serves a company or a team, a different category will probably suit it better.
- How do I choose between the subcategories when submitting?
- Every listing has exactly one main category, chosen at submission and included free. Pick the subcategory that matches what a visitor lands on first. A paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5, if your product spans several.
- How do I get my product listed here?
- Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from that site, and you check and edit every field before anything goes live. A paid launch costs $5; a free listing joins a queue of about 6-8 weeks.
- How are listings in this category ordered?
- Newest listings come first by default. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes, and votes can never be bought. Neither order reflects payment, so a vote-sorted view shows what other visitors actually rated well.
- What should I compare when looking at options in this field?
- Check who owns the content and whether you can export it, how the address is set up, and which fields the profile shows. Also compare how much setup is needed and whether the product suits a single person or many. The profile pages put these side by side.
