How to write, publish and update the story of each product you founded.

What you are writing

A founder story is the story of ONE product, told by one of its founders. Every co-founder writes a story of their own. A founder of two products writes two stories.

Finding your products

Go to Account > Founder story, at /account/founder/story. The listing's profile screen in your account carries a 'Founder story for <product>' card too. It lists your products, each with the state of its story - Not started, Draft or Published on N sites - and a Write or Edit button.

Inside the editor

The 'Founder story: <product>' editor walks you through six sections, from how it started to what's next. Your draft is saved as you type. Include up to 4 photos alongside the text. If you see 'Help me word this', it polishes your own sentences and adds nothing new; you decide whether to keep it.

Checks before it goes live

To publish, finish your founder profile at /account/founder first - the screen shows your name and photo. Fill in at least 3 sections with 200 words or more in total; keep to 2 links at most and leave out prices and offers.

Where readers see it

Readers find the story at /launch/<listing>/story/<founder>. Visitors to the product's listing see a card for it. Each product's story is listed on your founder profile; /stories shows the published stories on the site. Free listings show the story card locked; it opens when the listing becomes a paid launch.

Old links still work

Your earlier, all-products story stays as the general text on your founder profile. Each new product story starts from that text. The old /founder/<name>/story address still works, pointing to your product story or, for several products, your founder profile. Edit any time and publish again - the change is live at once.
