Revenue on Startup Biz Info
Self-reported revenue is a figure you choose to share: what your company earned in one calendar month, in US dollars. Because we do not check the figure, it carries the label self-reported. The owner of the listing can report it, and so can someone who manages the listing. Adding a figure is optional.
Where
Everything happens at /account/revenue once you are signed in. Choose the company's card, enter one month's revenue and its month, and submit.
What counts
You can report this month or any month from the previous two years. The amount must be above zero; separators and a dollar sign are fine. The proof link is not displayed anywhere public. For proof, give a public https:// page that backs the figure.
How visitors see it
The figure always appears with three things: self-reported, the month, and the reporting date. The figure goes on your listing and onto the revenue leaderboard. A company has a single figure, shown on all its listings.
Two tables
The revenue leaderboard at /leaderboards/revenue keeps verified and self-reported figures in separate tables. Verified revenue, by connecting your payment provider, is coming later. Revenue never touches the community votes.
Remove or update
To correct it, save a new figure; to take it down, press Remove. The listing's history keeps every version.
